Meanwhile, the teams finishing in the second and third positions will compete in the knockout-1 or playoff match. The ultimate showdown in the WPL will be between the table-toppers of the league stage and the winner of the Knockout-1 match.
With a total of 22 matches scheduled, the WPL promises intense competition and high-quality
cricket.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially confirmed the participation of five teams in the WPL for the first three seasons.
