Cricket fans in Karnataka have a thrilling domestic T20 tournament to look forward to this month. The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023, organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), is set to commence on August 13 and go on till August 29.
After a successful tournament last year, this year’s Maharaja Trophy T20 promises to be even bigger and better. The tournament has undergone a revamp with a new format, an increased number of matches, and two new franchises added to the mix.

All the matches of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023 will be held at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This premier cricket stadium has a seating capacity of over 40,000 spectators.
The matches are scheduled in two slots – 1 PM and 5:30 PM, allowing fans to attend the exciting T20 action during the day as well as evenings.

This year, the tournament will witness the participation of 6 teams. Defending champions Gulbarga Mystics along with Bengaluru Blasters, Mysuru Warriors, and Hubli Tigers, return for this edition.
Additionally, two new franchises – Mangaluru Dragons and Shivamogga Lions – have also been included in the tournament. The addition of new teams will add more competitiveness and novelty to the championship.
