The second edition of the KCA TCM Presidents Cup T20 cricket tournament is set to begin on September 4, 2023, in Alappuzha, Kerala. Organized by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), this domestic T20 competition will feature 5 teams competing for the title over a period of 10 days.
The 5 participating teams in the KCA TCM Presidents Cup 2023 are:
- KCA Eagles
- KCA Lions
- KCA Panthers
- KCA Royals
- KCA Tigers
These teams will play a double round-robin format, with each team facing the other 4 teams twice. This will result in a total of 21 T20 matches played during the league stage.
The top 2 teams at the end of the league stage will qualify for the final to be held on September 14, 2023. The venue for all the matches is the Sanatana Dharma College Ground in Alappuzha.
Defending champions KCA Lions will be looking to retain their title, having defeated KCA Eagles in the final of the inaugural 2022 edition.
However, the other teams, especially KCA Panthers and KCA Royals who finished 3rd and 4th last year, will be aiming to dethrone the Lions this time.
