The European Cricket Network’s popular ECS T10 tournament is back with its latest edition – the ECS Malta Encore T10 2023. This T10 cricket event is scheduled to kick off on November 6, 2023, at the Marsa Sports Club in Marsa, Malta.
With 12 talented teams set to battle it out over 5 days, the ECS Malta Encore T10 2023 promises to be an exciting cricket festival for fans. The 12 teams are divided into two groups of six each.
Group A comprises Edex Knights, Gzira United, Mater Dei, Overseas, Swieqi United and Southern Crusaders. The Group B lineup includes Bugibba Blasters, Gozo Zalmi, Marsa, Msida Warriors, Royal Strikers and Red Stars.
The tournament follows a double round-robin format in the group stage. Each team plays the other sides in their group twice, with clubs scheduled to face the same opponent back-to-back on a single day.
After the group stage matches conclude, the top four points table toppers from Group A and Group B will progress to the knockout quarter-finals. The quarter-final winners will then clash in the semi-finals, with the victors meeting in the ECS Malta Encore T10 2023 final on November 24.

In total, the 12 competing sides will play a whopping 67 T10 matches over 5 days at the picturesque Marsa Sports Club. Cricket fans can expect high-octane batting performances, with just 10 overs per inning in the T10 format.
Earlier in February 2023, Gozo Zalmi clinched the title in ECS Malta T10 2023 after defeating Southern Crusaders in the final by 6 runs. Gozo Zalmi will be eager to defend their title when the ECS Malta Encore T10 2023 tournament starts on November 6.
