The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that BookMyShow will be the official ticketing partner for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 to be held in India. The tournament will kick off on September 29 and conclude on November 19, featuring 58 matches across 12 venues in the country.
In an effort to ensure a smooth ticket-buying experience, sales will be introduced in phases beginning with an exclusive 24-hour pre-sale window for ICC’s commercial partner Mastercard on August 24.

For other fans, sales open on August 25 for non-India warm-ups and event matches. From August 30 onwards, tickets will be released venue-wise for all India matches. The last phase starting September 15 is for semi-finals and final.
BCCI CEO Hemang Amin expressed excitement about the ticketing launch, saying they look forward to a seamless experience for fans to access matches.
He said their commitment is to ensure efficient access control and support so enthusiasts can enjoy live action from stadium stands.
ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley also invited fans worldwide to purchase tickets and be part of the biggest Cricket World Cup. With affordable pricing, he encouraged fans to grab tickets early.
The World Cup returns to India after 11 years. With cricket’s popularity in the country, the tournament is expected to attract sell-out crowds. Securing tickets early through the scheduled phased manner will be important for fans to avoid disappointment.
